Whether you are new to online auctions or an experienced bidder, check out this guide and get ready to win your next lot!
How to
Participate
Register and apply to bid prior the auction.
Once you have registered, your login will be valid for
all V-Auction events. You will need to apply to
bid in each auction. We will review your application
before approving you to bid and may contact you for additional
information or a credit check.
Please note, we will never ask for payment to approve your application.
Before the Auction:
- Review the lots in the auction and make a wish list of your favourite lots.
- Some lots will have samples available. If you're interested, you can request samples trough the platform.
Day 1
Timed Auction
You will have 4 hours to place your bids and compete to win lots!
If you are interested in the lot, you can:
- Place a "Bid" at the suggested increment or an
"Autobid" for the maximum amount you're willing to
pay. The system will then automatically bid on your behalf until
your maximum limit is reached.
- Or, use the "Buy now" button to win the lot at
the suggested price.
Winners will be declared at 1:00 pm.
Lots without a bid may be carried to the second auction.
Day 2
Reverse Auction
Bidding wil be open at 9 am and the opening price will decrease gradually on all the lots.
The first bid placed on each lot wins—meaning if you place a bid, you accept the current price.
The lots will gradually drop out of the auction. Once a lot is removed, no further bids can be placed on it. So keep an eye on them and don't miss the opportunity to win the lots!
Everyone who has placed a bid is automatically a winner of the lot and will be notified.
The days after the auction the sellers will contact the winners, collect payments and arrange the delivery.
